I wanted to try Haitian food so my friend took me here. I tried the fritay which is basically a mix of fried Haitian foods. Its very similar to other Caribbean foods. My favorite thing was the pikliz it was the perfect topping. It has a vinegar taste to it but its spicy. I loved the pickly and spicy taste it added. The meats were really good I had the griot pork and sausage. There's also onions in there to add to the flavor. There were fried plantains in there. Service was good. This is a small shop but I love how they represent Haiti with the decor. Overall, this was really good dish. It definitely filled me up. I love the mix of savory, spicy, and pickly flavors.

The food was very very great. I had their fried sausage and sautéed food. They were inexpensive. The food was pure and highly nutritional. I also had a side of fried Bananas and they were crisp and golden yellow. It was so crisp that it melted after you heard the crunch! Yummy to the max! The service was great. The hostesses; were polite, well groomed and they all had a great smile serving me. I oved how it is very private and centrally located. It is in the middle of rockaway parkway by the L train station.

I came here on a late night Saturday there was still a lot of food available. I'm a fan of Haitian food and I want to be able to taste all dishes available that I have yet to try. This night in particular I decided to try the Lalo. It was so good! The beef was an added pleasure. I can't wait to try the next best thing on the menu!

The food is really good. The white rice is delicious with the legume. I'm not a fan of the egg in the patty but I just popped that out and devoured the well seasoned delicacy of my homeland.

This review is based soley on the food as I've only ordered delivery from this restaurant. Authentic Haitian food at its best. Big portions, I usually have lunch and save some for dinner. No thrills just delicious food which I can appreciate it. The only thing I've ordered here is the griot, white rice and green plantains. All heavy hitters!

This place has authentic Haitian Fritay. I come here every time I'm in the neighborhood and have been loyal to this place for years and I'm never let down. Their Fritay is always consistent and service is always fast. Their food is buffet style/pre made so even though it's good, it's not super fresh. If you want super fresh Fritay you'd have to go to Kal's Bakery a few blocks over -- but you'd have to wait a while for it. But if you're on the go, definitely come here! I also LOVE their pickliz recipe and their meat is always well-seasoned.
